Dreamers are the visionaries and innovators of the world. They are fueled by the excitement of possibility. Ideas spontaneously revolve in their mind.
Their distinctive persistence keeps them moving in the direction of their dreams. Occasionally, they lose momentum after too many failed attempts. But they never fully give up.
Whether it’s moments, months, or years later, the dreamer rediscovers their path when a familiar experience revisits to remind them of the joy that comes with the journey of chasing a dream.
They are then challenged with the divide: succumb to fear of failing again and never know the life they were meant to live, or accept the reminder as a sign to keep pushing on.
Because a dreamer knows that succumbing to a life that is anything less than fulfilling would be death to their soul, they begin again.
I am a dreamer. And for too long I sat on the sidelines debilitated by fear. Ideas upon ideas, I start and never finish because I struggle to know my worth.
But with each passing opportunity to dive into the life my heart so desperately longs for, I become more exhausted from trying to quiet the voice in my head that constantly reminds me I was meant for more.
We are brought into this world with a purpose: to share our one special gift with the world. Whatever it is that sets your soul on fire is what you were put here to do.
I know how scary it can be to put yourself out there. Whether it’s sharing your story or something you created, learning to engage in life with courage rather than seizing your dreams because of fear, is a difficult mission.
But the day you learn to lean into the joy that comes when your life’s work finally aligns with your heart’s desires, you will begin your journey of bringing your dream into reality.
